Catching up

Here is koi number two.  I simply laid tracing paper over koi #1 and used a sharpie to outline the shaoe. Next, cut out the shape, flipped it and placed it. Then using my chalk mechanical pen drew the koi onto the material.

I am Iin love with this process and the way the fish both pop and recede in the stitching!

Not the best lighting but last night I finished this top.  Can't wait to get some white batting & get it quilted!
